Sample at the taproom. Brownish-black pour with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate and peppers. Medium-bodied with flavors of roast malt, bittersweet chocolate and mild chili peppers. The finish is malty up front with a peppery aftertaste. Decent overall.

A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, bitter chocolate with interesting chili notes, coffee grind, musty character, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with good chili hotness, lingering, sweet fruity notes, well balanced yet hoooot.. On tap at brewery.
