(Tap sample @ MBCC 2017 Blue Session, Copenhagen) Pours nearly clear pale yellow with a big white head. Notes dominated by an interestingly strongly sweet and rather strongly acidic lemon character that hits like a punch, with white grapes and lemon zest, with a yeasty character of bread and light funk, pale malt, light to moderate oak, and yet more lemon all over the slightly drier back end. Acidity is citrusy and a bit obviously lactic, but maybe an acetic element too. Light to medium bodied, slick, average carbonation. Something about the massive hit of lemon didn't quite work for me, maybe it just blew out already blown festival taste buds?

On tap at Monkish. Dang, this beer must not have traveled too well for all you dudes that tried it at the Mikkeller beer festival. This stuff is the bomb! It pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some bright lemon, fresh flowery notes with a hint of barrel. The flavor is full with intense lemon and lime with some light funk and hints of toasted barrel. Very crisp with dense citrusy acidity that creeps up on you, but doesn’t become acetic. The mouthfeel is very soft and velvety. Masterfully done.
