Tap at the brewpub. Very light yellow pour, with a tiny white head. Aroma is subtle wheat, light grassy, and the slightest hint of sweet random fruit. Thin mouthfeel, super soft carb. The mango comes through in the finish, but not mjch else. A nice mango flavour is present at the end with a touch of tartness. I expected more.

On tap at Indie Alehouse, pours a hazy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out rustic saison yeast, a hint of mango, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with rustic saison yeast, and a hint of mango. Rustic and fruity. Okay.

Pours pale yellow with white head. Fruity nose of mango, mild yeast, mild malts. Light malty flavour, supported nicely by mangos and resin hops. Light but nice. Mrs. H likes this one mucho.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy yellow color with a large foamy white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was dryish with cracker, dust and a hint of vague fruit. The flavor was dry, bitter, perfumey and had notes of mango and papaya. Long dry perfumey finish. Light to medium body. Disappointing.

A hazed blonde saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with mango, tropical fruit, smooth catty hops, very nice. In mouth, a smooth sweet fruity mango, with light grassy hops, light orange, very nice and quaffable. On tap at brewery.

(Draught at the brewpub, Aug 31 2013) Pours a slightly hazy medium gold with a dense head of white froth and loads of lace. Aroma is richly mango up front, with grassy hoppy notes and some light bready malt/yeast saison character. Flavour fruity mango up front, maybe a bit of citrus in there, but not as assertively fruit-forward as the nose. Grassy vegetal hops quickly become apparent alongside a bready, yeasty saison body with very light yeast spice. It’s pretty dry to begin with and dries out more, with a light hop bitterness to the finish along with a slight yeasty funk. Body average to full for a saison, carbonation fairly restrained, good for the style. Like it, refreshing, wish they’d not run out and I could’ve got a growler for a sunny afternoon.
