A hazed golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light cloves, banana, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light banana, cloves, esters, very nice. On tap at c’est what beer fest.

(On tap at Bar Hop, July 19 2014) Pours cloudy medium gold with a small tight, creamy white cap, and active carb coming up the glass sides. Aroma has a light banana and clove nose with lots of spice box and herbs, bit of lemon. Flavour sweet pale malt, slight candy sugar, banana, lemon rind, spice, but dries out a ton towards the finish, crisp and herbal and spicy with a faint bitterness and no detectable alcohol on the lingering finish. Medium-full mouthfeel with creamy effervescent carb. Very well-balanced tripel with good spice character and complexity, never overwhelmingly sweet but love how dry it finishes. Quenching even. Very pleasant surprise from Side Launch.
