Cute name. Draft at Rock and Brews. Seemed like a nitro pour, very dark brown, almost black, thin but thick creamy head. Nose and flavor feature a lot of chocolate, slightly nutty, perhaps slightly roasty. Semi-sweet at the finish. The creamy mouthfeel of the nitro pour kinda ruins it for me.

16 oz can. Opaque dark root beer colored pour with a light tan head and good retention. No lacing. A bit crisp and thin for the style. Taste is molasses with some dark fruit. Semi acidic finish. Not bad but I was hoping for better.

A clear reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with herbaceous hops, dark fruit, light sulfur. In mouth, a sweet fruity malt with dark fruits, molasses, a bit watery, light off notes. On tap at Hourglass Brewery.
