Sampled at the 2014 Winterbrewed Craft Beer Festival on Valentines’ Day. Poured a real dark brown with a big creamy beige head, great retention and thick lacing. Great nose of cacao, vanilla, carob, all well-blended. Again, the taste is quite good with roasted malt and some fruitiness coming out over the chocolate and vanilla with a mild bitter finish. Decent body with some stickiness, but goes down nicely. Not too heavy, slightly creamy. What a great brewed beer.

A dark brown stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet chocolate malt with light chocolate notes, milky and fruity notes. In mouth, a sweet fruity chocolate malt with light fruity notes, milk chocolate, not bad. On tap at Winterbrewed 2014.
