Missed this one last year and was sad, so this year (2013) jumped on it. Pours a hazy rich amber colour with a warm cap, decent retention and sloppy lace. Quite a spicy nose with cinnamon, cloves, ginger and some light nutmeg with the fruity malt. Amber base malt flavours with the spices a little more balanced, with some hints of maple syrup. A decent easy-drinking Christmas spiced beer.

A copper amber ale with a thin laciing off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt, cloves, ginger, not bad. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel with loads of cardamom, ginger, cloves, banana and cream, decent. On tap at Ottawa location.
