A deep dark brown porter with a thick frothy nitro brown head. In aroma, light grassy chocolate malt with grainy notes, OK. In mouth, a dry powdery chocolate malt with light grassy notes, watery, so-so. On tap at Westboro location.

Their 2012 edition was released last week, with an outside party in the cold. Now, enjoying it inside. The head is beautifully creamy, beige, lasts the whole time and gives out decent lacing. The brew is clean and copper colour. Butterscotch nose with a little caramel and roasted malts. Wet refreshing, but kind of light mouthfeel. Mildly creamy when sipping the head (creamed up by the nitro). The roasted malt blends well with the hop, to not have too much burnt taste. Fruity notes (apples), nuts, molasses and very mild coffee. Too cold at first, but as it warmed up, it became much better. Easy drinkability as not too thick.
