Keg at the brewery tap. Pours mostly clear red-pink with a creamy white head. The aroma holds seedy and fairly fresh, ripe raspberry along with, alas, some unpleasant butyric acid notes. Light sweet flavor with subtle acidity, bitter raspberry seeds, lemon, some baby puke. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Tart on the finish with some cleansing acidity, unfortunate subtle cheese and vomit undertones, tart raspberry, quenching lemon juice, citrus rind. Thankfully the butyric acid notes aren’t dominant here, only dashing out now and again, although more commonly in the aftertaste. A shame, as his beer is quite nice and refreshing otherwise.interestingly, the off-notes seem to subside as I work my way through the 2/3 pint. By the end there’s very little off-putting, in fact, save perhaps for a little oily cheese in the aftertaste. I’ll go with 3.0 as I’m just not totally sure about this one.
