(tap) clear, brigh amber colour with a small white head; aroma of lilies; lightly sour, refreshing flavour with a medium long, tart finish

(On tap @ Indie, Jan 12 2016) Pours hazy burnt orange with a large off white head and lace. Aroma of caramel, light blood orange notes, nutmeg, assorted spicebox, weak. Palate of crackery malt with slight sweetness, herbs, soap and some winter spices. A bit of fruity sweet water profile. Finish is fairly light with slight bitterness, a bit of grain and dusty yeast. Light to medium body with average carb. I found there was very little going on here. Quite uninteresting.

Pour at the Indie. Notable addition to the description, as told by the server, is that this is a Wit with clove, pomegranate, and clementine. This is a miss by Indie, who consistently make great beers. Smells of pine, grass. Taste of grass, pine and a really weird aftertaste of cigarette smoke. (My wife describes the after-taste as +"totally weed" not smoke, just weed.) Not a good beer.

A dark brown "wit" with a thin mocha head. In aroma, fruity ester, roasted malt, bananas, dark plums, OK. In mouth, a roasted malt with banana, dark fruits, not bad. On tap at brewpub, Feb. 2 2012.

Smells yeasty. Pours dark red with good lacing, some head - not wxaxtly usual colour for style but the bartender said that was the spices they added. Taste has light sourness. A little nutmeg in the aroma. Tap at brewpub.
