750ml bottle from the brewpub in Ottawa. Pours a clean amber colour with an off-white that is frothy, long lasting and gives out some foamy lace. Hoppy nose with fruity nose and caramel malts. The hop is a little less in the taste, but still present with some grassiness in the finish. Fruity malts mostly with a little caramel in the back. Not so much an English ESB, but a decent session brew. More of an amber ale overall.

A hazed amber ESB with a thick frothy mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel with loads of pungent grassy hops, piney and resinous, nice. In mouth, a sweet smooth grainy caramel malt, grassy hops, not bad. On tap at Arrow and Loon, Jan 17, 2012.
