Sturdy bitter with a mild soapy aroma. Medium bodied, dark golden and struggles to maintain its head, although there’s no problem with its bitterness.

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF 2004] A nut-brown beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet, while the flavor is malty with notes of caramel and the body is thin.

On tap at the Oakdale Arms Beer Fest, Feb. 21 2005. Golden ale with a light white head. Pils like taste with rather german hops. More like a cask conditionned czech pils. OK, but nothing special.
