Cask days 2012. Clear amber pour, no head. Aroma of wet grass, wet paper, and sweet malts. Decent grains, some subtle yet very grassy hops. Good mouth feel, and low carb. Low bitter finish, with more caramel malts, and the hops totally fade away. All thats left is sweet mushy, grainy malts.

Sample, cask, Volo’s Cask Days, savoured on October 27 2012; eye: copper with an orangey hue, clear, no effervescence, tiny ring of tan head, no lacing; nose: hops, light pine, light malt, light grapefruit; mouth: hops, light pine, light malt, light grapefruit, lightly dry finale in hops with light presence of malt, medium body, average carbonation, lightly bitter, slightly sweet, a bit thin; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Échantillon, cask, Cask Days de Volo, savourée le 27 octobre 2012; œil : cuivre avec une teinte orangée, limpide, pas d’effervescence, petit anneau de mousse fauve, pas de dentelle; nez : houblon, léger pin, léger malt, léger pamplemousse; bouche : houblon, léger pin, léger malt, léger pamplemousse, finale légèrement sèche en houblon avec légère présence de malt, corps moyen, carbonatation moyenne, légèrement amère, très légèrement sucrée, un peu mince; en résumé : correct

A clear golden IPA with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth caramel ,alt with nice floral and piney hops, citrus, classic. In mouth, caramel malt with light floral hops, butterscotch,decent given the origin. Cask at Toronto Cask Days 2012, Oct. 27 2012.
