Solid malts, toffee, and some fresh berries, even a touch tart. Tartness fades, finishes sweet and juicy with a nice underlying toffee maltiness.

Sample, cask, Volo’s Cask Days, savoured on October 27 2012; eye: maroon, hazy, tiny ring of beige head, light lacing; nose: raspberry, malt, light acidity; mouth: raspberry, malt, light acidity, light acridness, finale in raspberry with presence of malt, medium body, slightly sweet, lightly harsh texture; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Échantillon, cask, Cask Days de Volo, savourée le 27 octobre 2012; œil : marron, voilée, petit anneau de mousse beige, légère dentelle; nez : framboise, malt, légère acidité; bouche : framboise, malt, légère acidité, légère âcreté, finale en framboise avec présence de malt, corps moyen, très légèrement sucrée, texture légèrement rugueuse; en résumé : correct

A hazed reddish amber bock with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light raspberry, nice and smooth. In mouth, roasted malt with nice acidic raspberry pulp. very ice, well done. Cask at Cask Days 2012.
