Fresh hop version. Dark orange body with white head. Hoppy aroma with notes of cedar and citrus. Hoppy taste with an all over the mouth finish.

Fresh Hop version: A lightly hazed dark amber ale with with a thin off white head. In aroma, classic caramel malt with a good dose of floral c-hops, piney and smooth. In mouth, a crisp and dry biscuit malt with dry puckering British hops, lingering, a b it harsh but overall, OK. On tap at brewpub at Hawthorne, Oct. 7 2012.

Draft. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and malt as well as light notes of hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, and the body is thin.
