On tap at the Barrel House. Pours a copper color with a medium white head. The aroma is big malty sweetness, some caramel and dust. The flavor has some bitterness, maybe some light citrus, but really this is a dry malty brew with caramel and some toasted malts. Really this is an Amber Ale in terms of flavor profile. Nothing wrong with this beer, unless you are searching for a modern big IPA let alone IIPA.

A hazed amber DIPA with a thick mocha head. In aroma, big biscuit malt with smooth floral hops, orange pulp, grassy and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of grassy piney hops, cloves, grapefruit, malty DIPA. On tap at Portland brewery, Oct. 7 2012.

On tap at Cascade, pours an opaque orange with a small beige head. Aroma of citrus hops, orange zest and dry citrus peel. Flavour is huge citrus zest bomb, with dry orange zest / peel dominating, with some biscuit malt to back. Leaves a nice zesty, hoppy astringency on the finish. Surprisingly great. Cascade comes through with a great non-sour.
