375ml bottle. Hazy, amber colour with huge, frothy, collapsing, white head. Pumpkin aroma with spicy addendum and yeasty spicy overtones, hints of ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg, a bretty touch. Taste is dry, spicy, hints of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, a touch of ginger; overcarbonated and minimally watery. Not overspiced, but rather monotonous and light.

Enjoyed at Arrow & Loon on cask, and under the name Pi-eyed Pumpkin. Pours a pretty hazy amber colour with lots of tiny particles, spices floating around. Foamy beige head that surprisingly stays quite a long time, with decent lacing. Lots of pumpkin in the aromas with some nice spices. Again, the pumpkin in the taste is pretty strong, over the spices with some decent hops, grassy notes lingering. Pretty nice real-pumpkin ale with the spices well-blended. Worth it on cask.

A hazed amber ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, a butty mineral malt with light boiled veggies. In mouth, a nice smooth pumpkin ale with ginger and nutmeg, a bit light but good. As Pie Eyed Pumpkin. On tap at Arrow and Loon, Oct. 17 2012.
