Sample, draught, at Bières et saveurs, savoured September 1 2012; eye: dark brown, clear, tiny ring of off-white head, light lacing; nose: root beer, earthy, light medicinal, slight underwood, spices; mouth: root beer, earthy, light medicinal, slight underwood, spices, finale in root beer with earthy presence, medium body, average carbonation, lightly sweet, slick texture; overall: interesting FRANÇAIS Échantillon, en fût, lors du Bières et saveurs, savourée le 1er septembre 2012; œil : brune foncée, limpide, petit anneau de mousse blanc cassé, légère dentelle; nez : racinette, terreux, léger médicinal, très léger sous-bois, épices; bouche : racinette, terreux, léger médicinal, très léger sous-bois, épices, finale en racinette avec présence terreuse, corps moyen, carbonatation moyenne, légèrement sucrée, texture coulante; en résumé : intéressante

A copper amber ale with a thick mocha head. In aroma, a strange mix of herbs, hot pepper, mint and tea. In mouth, a sweetish malt with notes of mint, toothpaste, menthol, caramel, OK, but a bit strange. On tap at Bieres et Saveurs, Sept 2 2012.
