On cask at the Grosvenor. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - caramel biscuits. Taste - more caramel biscuits. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - solid but unexciting.

On cask at the Grosvenor. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - citrus and grass. Taste - lemon and herbs. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly decent dry finish. Overall - solid.

Cask at the Malt Shovel. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light biscuit, faint lemon. Taste is oat biscuit, faint butterscotch. Light sweet, thin finish.

Cask at the Grosvenor. Pours clear pale gold, thick white head. Aromas of lemon and butterscotch. Taste is more lemon, herbal, almost lemon verbena. Creamy texture, thin finish. Not bad.

Cask @ Golden Lion, York. Golden with a creamy head. Has a light textured berry-sweet taste. Its aroma is dry and hoppy, but it’s not an overly exciting beer.

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of elderflowers, malt, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and elderflowers, leading to a bitter finish.
