Cask-conditioned at the Olde Stare Inn, York, 19/1/2017. Deep gold in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Solid, malty, bitter with some Greene King house character. Ok.

Cask @ some random pub, London. Watery and soapy bitter with hints of earthiness and berries. Generic and boring.

Cask pint in the Royal George, by Euston Station on 3rd Aug 2016. Golden yellow pour, decent white head. Decent enough without really giving much in the way of aroma or flavour. Mild malty front to both the nose and taste with a light bitterness in the finish: let’s call it a subtle blend rather than boring.

Cask at The Junction, Clapham Junction. 05/07/16. Fruity aroma, what there is of it. One it had been sat there picked up a marzipan aroma. Deep gold. Fluffy white Head. Can’t complain. Light body, verging on watery. Sweet with a slight sweet edge. Honey comes to mind. Another beer which is classed as pale ale, which I could down a few of without really noticing.

On cask at Milnes Bar Edinburgh - Hazy yellow body with a long lasting white head. Nose is caramel with a digestive biscuits background. Taste is a bit grainy and cereal but is helped with a reasonably decent bitter finish.
