Light brown pour, small white head. Light aroma of nuts, and slight roasty. No hops, sweet caramel malts. Watery, and low carb. Finish is slightly roasty with a light bitter roasty finish,

Pours reddish brown with good lacing and some head. Some smokey malt. Comes together pretty well. Nice roast malt and light chocolate. Finishes lightly bitter with some hops aroma. Tap at brewpub.

Glass, 6-ounce, on the premise, savoured July 30 2012; eye: maroon with a reddish hue, clear, tiny ring of tan head, no lacing; nose: malt, dusty, ashy, slight nutty; mouth: malt, dusty, ashy, slight nutty, ashy finale with light presence of malt, medium-light body, good carbonation, a bit thin; overall: correct FRANÇAIS Verre, 6 onces, sur place, savourée le 30 juillet 2012; œil : marron avec une teinte rougeâtre, limpide, petit anneau de mousse fauve, pas de dentelle; nez : malt, poussière, cendrée, très léger noix; bouche : malt, poussière, cendrée, très léger noix, finale cendrée avec légère présence de malt, corps moyen-léger, bonne carbonatation, un peu mince; en résumé : correct

A mahogany red ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, a sweet nutty butterscotch malt with faint herbal hops. In mouth, a sweet nutty malt with nice roastiness, coffee notes, pretty decent. On tap at brewpub, July 7 2012.
