This brew is an extra strong take on our Red Devil Pale, conditioned for three months in bourbon barrels. Full flavoured and fruity, with a subtle touch of whiskey, it is a hearty and warming seasonal ale.

Mahogany, creamy lasting beige head, small bead.Nose of brown sugar and alcohol.Big woody alcoholic profile, medium strength lasting hop finish. Would be better with age Not an Imperial IPA, more of a Strong Ale

A hazed dark amber brown ale with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light sulfur. In mouth, sweet caramel, light butterscotch, light oxidation, light off notes. Bottle from 2012.

650mL bottle, pours a mostly clear copper / amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of light bourbon and vanilla upfront with some mild fruity notes underneath. Flavour is very light considering what this is supposed (?) to be - light vanilla and bourbon notes dominate, with I guess some fruity and floral hop notes underneath. Booze is no where to be detected, with only some extremely subtle bourbon and vanilla notes to linger. Tastes like a standard 5% pale ale with barely a detection of the barrel aging. Boring but drinkable and not offensive.
