Bottle, thanks vjohans. Pours red brown with a disappearing head. Aroma of red malt and cola. Sweet, some oranges, light with a roasted malt finish.

Bottle from a K-Market in Porvoo, Finland. Mid-brown, translucent. Lots of visible carbonation and it’s only the thin creamy head which reminds me this isn’t a cola. Gentle malty smell with hints of redcurrants and baking chocolate. Quite sweet-tasting, a bit bland, then with a sour-bitter finish. Watery palate exacerbated by excessive carbonation. Not much there to speak of, and what there is leaves a bit to be desired.

Ok

Bottled 355ml (K-Citymarket Kivihaka)
Dark ruby color, small beige head. Light toasted, caramelly aroma. Light-bodied. Clean mouthfeel but of course watery and light. Some toastyness and caramel. Short finish. Perhaps goes with some food. I think that this one has not much to do with English mild ales.

Bottled (from K Citymarket Kivihaka, Vaasa). Deep amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is nutty and some mild wooden notes with a wee bit syrup. Flavour is wooden, syrupy and some slight sweet malts as well as some mild toasted notes.

A very dark brown beer, a head is big and creamy. Aroma has roastiness, coffee, herbs with mint, some liquirice. Taste has roastiness of coffee, quite dry, some liquirice and mint. Light bodied, not bothering due to nicely smoothness. Quite nice beer for easy enjoyment.

Bottle. Clear dark reddish brown, medium beige head, dissipates quickly. Aroma is a bit laid back, semi sweet and roasted malt, toffee and chocolate, slight floral note. Taste is slight roasted with a wattery feel, slight floral notes, again roasted notes in the finish. Light body, low carbo. Wattery and industrial sadly, otherwise nice to see a mild in the Swedish grocery shops.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Hazy brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and chocolate. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Light dry finish. A bit watery. By no means a Session IPA - should be changed to Mild Ale. 050816
