A dark reddish copper ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, light caramel with faint burned notes and fruity esters. In mouth, a definitely smokey peaty caramel malt, scotch qualities, light grassy hops with some lingering herbal bitterness, medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Feb. 10 2012.
