A clear deep dark brown porter with reddish hues and a thin lacing brown head. In aroma, a peaty chocolate with light herbal notes, smokey, a bit of tar, not bad. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with light smoked notes, nice and smooth. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 11 2011.

On tap at the Brewpub, October 21, 2011. Black with a minimal tan head. Pleasant aroma of smoked ham, roasted malt and dark chocolate. The same in the pleasant taste. I liked this, not heavy at all but very drinkable. The best of the 10 beers that I tried during my visit at Haymarket.

On tap at the brewpub, Adam chance the name! Pours a clear dark brown with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges slowly. Aroma is full of smoke with a bit of a smoke meat note and roasted malts. Flavor is full of smoke as well with roasted malts and a hint of coffee.
