Quite sour, sharp sour berries, dry biterness. Reminded me alot of a bad red wine, but a decent beer! Quite boozy, but the sourness really comes through in the end. not bad.

2009 Cask. A deep dark ale with a light reddish hue and a thin mocha head. In aroma, smooth acids over dark fruits, chocolate, not bad. In mouth, a tart molasses with light acidity, a bit harsh, lingering. On tap at St-Bock’s 5th Anniversary, Oct. 15 2011.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy deep amber with to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, citrusy and slight chemical. Smooth, citric and crisp fruity with a mellow yeasty note. Lingering fruity and slight citric finish, Crisp and easy. Nice.

Draft: Poured a dark reddish color ale with a light foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of sweet dry fruits with some tart notes Taste is an intense mix between some overly sweet malt with notes of dry fruits and some cherry blossom and dark chocolate with light tart notes and no discernable oak. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Interesting though too many flavour are fighting and don’t necessarily mesh well. A bit too sweet for my taste as well.
