A clear brown ale with a lacing thin moka head. A smooth caramel malt aroma, with light vinous notes, some li8ght coffee too. In mouth, a smooth nutty malt with some roasted notes, a bit herbal, nice British hops bitterness, medium bodied. On tap at Sunset Grill, Jan. 16 2011.

For a winter season ale from a brewer that I usually enjoy, this one was a little dissapointing. Smells and tastes like cough syrup, way too many spices or something added to make it enjoyable. little head that dissapeared quickly, other tastes of cinnamon, some peppermint?, im not sure what they were thinking with this one, but ill avoid it next time.
