A reddish copper alt wioth a thin off white head. A strong butterscotch malt aroma, cloying, with some fruity esters. In mouth, a rather Irish interpretation of an alt with graiy and buttery malt, oily mouthfeel, not my style. On tap at ChurchKey DC, Sept. 18 2010.

Draft at Churchkey. I’m basing the review from the order the bartender said the beers were, so I’m assuming they didn’t get the beers mixed up with the other two versions. This version poured a medium copper color with a small mostly-white head. Aroma was malty. Flavor was incredibly crisp, and a tad bit more hoppy then the rest in the finish.
