Pigs Ear. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan. head. Unpleasant buteric cherry nose. Flavour is punchy and mildly tart cherry, mild spice, trace of dark berries. Unfortunately the nose awfulness is evident on the back end of the beer. Coulda shoulda woulda been good.

Cask gravity at PE 2016. It pours darkeat red -brown with minimal head. The aroma is rich, earthy, musty, stewed cherry, kirsch, barnyard, vanilla and roasted malt. The taste is rich, vinous, earthy roast, tangy cherry, cherry jam, alcohol warmth, kirsch, blackforest gateaux and some farmyard. Finish is dry and woody. Rather fruity. Decent.
