On tap at Goose Island Wrigleyville. Poured a cloudy dark amber with an off-white head. The aroma consisted of sweet malty notes. The flavor was fully of complex malts and some sweet notes. While its not my favorite style, I do believe this is good for the style.

A dark amber ale with a thin light moka head. A nice sweet caramel, nutty, with nice British hops. In mouth, a good molasse and biscuitty malt, with light candy sugar, tingling esters, nutty. Warming alcohol in finale. A whopper of an ESB. On tap at Clybourn, May 17 2009.
