Draught at the brewpub. Pours clear dark amber-brown with large foamy beige head, roasted malt aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter spicy roasted malt taste, thin body, long bitterish finish. Well-crafted altbier.

A dark orangey amber ale with a thick creamy off white head. A light caramel malt aroma, light saaz hops. In mouth, a light caramel malt taste with honey notes, very thin but still satisfying. On tap at brewpub, Inbièrenationale IV, May 2007.
