330ml bottle. Cloudy, brown colou rwith small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Sweet-ish, sugary, caramel malty aroma, minimally peaty and smoky BA notes with a touch of leather, some vanilla, wood. Taste is sweet-ish, sugary, caramel malty and earthy, minimally peaty and smoky, slightly chocolatey, minimally alcoholic, a touch of vanilla, woody overtones. Soft to falt carbonation, minimally insipid.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ Scooper Tasting ], Ulfborg, Denmark. [ As Weird Beard / Electric Nurse Bearded Nurse (BA Macallan) ].Clear medium orange amber colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, dried fruit, sweet fruit, sweet malt, wood, toasted, some whisky notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, candy, wood, alcohol, dried fruit, sweet malt, toasted, whisky. Bottle, 10.2%. Hazy dark amber/brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, oak, whisky and a little dusty. Flavour is malt, caramel, toasted, oak, whisky, sweet, warming, notes of alcohol and medium bitter.

@Ulfborg Scooper. Amber, offwhite head. Some floaties. Malty, caramely aroma with clear whisky notes. Sweet, caramely flavour, nice whisky burn. Some citrus peel. Beats the Ardbeg version.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is brown. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt, hops, wood, whisky and has a nice warming finish.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, dark fruit, light wood and whisky. Flavor is very sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. 040317

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours murky copper with a thin white head. Aromas of sherry, whisky, vanilla, toffee. Taste is more toffee, dried mixed peel. Finishes boozy. Better than the ardbeg!
