On tap at Lake Chalet. It pours an orange color with a white head. The aroma is piney and a little flowery with some caramel. The flavor has big floral hops, cooked veggies and light caramel. It has a strong floral bitterness in the finish. Not something I’d try again.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with ever so slightly hazed copper-orange hued body with a lasting just off-white head. Aromas are bready, malty, caramel, fruity and a bit estery. A spice note (hop?) and some orange. Flavors are a bit husky, medium to slight strong bitterness (very strong for common, and it isn’t just a hop bitterness). Fruity esters, bready, grainy and very tea like. Medium bubbles and quite bland. Creamy with lively bubbles and a decent amount of tannic astringency.

On Draught at the brewpub. Amber looks with a smallish white head. Sweet malts with a hint of citrus in the nose. Clean and straightforward flavour with some hop bitterness evident. Downable stuff, and gazing out on the ocean while drinking this, even if it was a wet december day, all was most well in the world.
