On tap at Tap East in Westfield Shopping Centre, Stratford, London. Pours a bright clear chestnut brown colour with a long lasting firm light tan head. Aroma of nut, pine, caramel and malt. High level of hoppy bitterness, light sweetness. Soft carbonation, medium body, texture is oily. Dry bitter chocolate, toasted finish. A very good brew.

Cask at CP&K. It pours clear deep brown with a thick light tan head. The nose is bitter-sweet, fresh pine, varnish, grapefruit, resinous, peppery spice and toffee. The taste is bitter, woody, resinous, varnish, pine needles, earth, mild astringency and some spice with a lingering dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Pretty intense and a touch astringent perhaps. Overall its a rather decent beverage.

Keg at the Blue Moon, Cambridge. Dark (but not too dark) brown, translucent. Thin film of khaki head on the top. Milk chocolate, oak chips, buttered toast with a smidgen of cinnamon in the scent. Tease starts lovely and sweet, then turns on you with an aggressive but sexy bitter hoppy bite. Finish is decidedly bitter. A very nice beer indeed.
