On tap, as Laine’s IPA 5.5 % abv, brewed by WJ King according to the barmaid. Half pint at the Four Thieves in Battersea. Shared with Stefan. Lacing rings down the glass from a diminishing white head. Clear golden body. Haft-dry citrus smell joined by bread-like malts. Ripe orange taste with undercurrent of grainy malts. Subdued drying bitter end. Soft in the mouth. Straightforward ipa (London 12.07.2015).
