500ml (thx, Matt V.!) @ Ryan's shared with Faress and a gang. Appearance: pours like oil, very dark brown. Aroma: dried bananas, very sweet, chocolate. Taste: very sweet, lots of bananas, oily, chocolate. Overall: a bit too sweet, but I still like this banana chocolate dessert.

Dark brown, pours inky. The aroma has a lot of vanilla, light banana, and a fair bit of chocolate. It's quite thick, good chocolate and vanilla, and some banana. Everything is coming across simple, though.

Poured from 500mL bottle (14.5% abv; barrel filled 5/6/21; barrel emptied 5/20/23). Very dark brown with almost no off-white head. Weird veggie banana/plantain aroma and taste, lots of peel, syrup, not a fan.

500mL bottle, pours black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is full of vanilla beans and plenty of spicy banana. Flavour is brutal, oily, and syrupy, with intense vanilla, moderate banana pur�e, and intensely oily and syrupy palate. Way too syrupy, not enough complexity. This doesn't work for me.

Intense banana overdose, some sweet syrup, chocolate sauce and vanilla notes, hints of roastiness and rum. Heavy and a bit boozy but tasty.

Bottle at ash's. Pours black, nose is chocolate, cream, banana, raisin, treacle, taste is similar, dark fruit, sweet, some warming spice.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666 (thanks Joe C). Appearance - jet black with a thin tan head. Nose - big molasses, Rum, spiced. A bit Jamaica Cake. Taste - luscious, fig, rum and molasses. Chocolate, spice and again Jamaica Cake. Palate - full bodied, lusciously rich and through the finish. Overall - lovely, lovely beer!
