ABV: 15.5%. Clear dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white - light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, sweet malt, chocolate, toffee, dark malt, bourbon - barrel, dark chocolate, vanilla. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, vanilla, chocolate, dark malt, bourbon, chocolate - cocoa, malt bitter - roasted bitter. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20230502]

Draft. A black beer with no head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, prunes, and bourbon. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, alcohol, bourbon, and prunes, leading to a dry finish.

During Jackie O's TTO after MBCC first day. Shared with Phill, Balder, Will, Brian, and Ryan. Dark fruits, some barrel, very sweet, a bit bitter. Good.

On tap at Peders, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is intense, with lots of vanilla beans, cocoa, and bourbon barrels. Flavour is boozy and rather harsh, with lots of booze, vanilla and bourbon. Harsh and difficult to drink but not bad.
