Tap at Molto. Shiga Kogen Snow Monkey 2018 This year’s version is a NEIPA that is a cloudy milky honey gold, it looks really thick and not as clear as other photos I’ve seen. I think it’s probably getting near the bottom of the keg... The aroma is very bright fragrant topical fruits. Light bodied and bone dry it’s quite a bit more bitter than I expected. The taste is wheat crackers with tropical fruits and some dank resin in the bitter finish. Solid.

Tap at 2018 Kyoto Zest Oike Beer Festival. Dark, muddy golden color, lacy. Nose is orange juice, tropical mango and pineapple, wheat biscuits. Nice juice flavor, lots of wheat coming through. Decent but not up there with the best.

very turbid amber and white color, big orange and white gummy bears with lots of peaches. Low medium bitterness, still mouthfeel is a bit off. White Grapefruit bitterness. Everyone said it was much better on tap. Might have to re-rate at some point.

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Shiga Kogen Snow Monkey IPA ].Unclear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, pine, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170922] 7-3-7-3-15

8 3 7 3 15 Draft at Borefts Beer Festival '17. Hazy golden orange with an off white head. Aroma of citrus, grassy hops, tropical fruits and peach. Flavour is light sweet and moderate bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at Borefts 2017. Hazy deep golden color. Off white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma's: dank hops, light citrus, juicy, light resin. Retronasal it's dank and juicy. Flavor is light sweet, dankish. Light bodied. Finishes dank, light bitter.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 1. Hazy orange color, medium sized white head. Quite dense long lasting white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, heavily hopped, very nice fruity hoppiness, hop bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice!
