From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is nicely fruity hoppy with soft dank notes, citrus, peach, light pale malt and mild tropical fruits. Flavour is mildly sweet with a medium bitter and dry-ish finish. Body is medium. Good IPA!

Tap at Komachi. Hazy pale yellow with a thin head. Nose is grapefruit, crackers, guava. Crisp and dry flavor, grapefruit and light tropical fruits. Fruity, but not juicy, very dry. Likable and interesting.

ga Kogen Snow Monkey IPA IBU 15 6% This is the new hazy (hazier?) version that looked like a glass of orange julep with a wisp of off-white foam. Orange juicy hop notes while the taste ads a woodsy green bitterness and some hop burn. It is medium to light bodied but feels too light for me. It’s alright but doesn’t really match an over the top proper hazy in my book.

Tap at Komachi. They came out with 2 this year, this one is supposed to be less sweet, and it probably was. Kinda muddy dull yellow. Nice hop nose, orange juice, dankness. Flavor is lacking in the big juiciness you want in the style. It's all right, but really the bitterness is what is most prominent. Disappointing.

New England feel but enjoyable grain weirdness. Spelt, I hear. But bit of that New England stuff too.

A hazed murky amber ipa with a very thin off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with grassy resinous floral hops, light tropical fruits, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light dank notes, light tropical fruits, very nice. On tap at Mahuro SKYO.

Tap at Craftheads. Quite soft, aroma is bit stinky, tropical fruit, house ipa-esque. Taste is great though. Soft fruity, lots of sherbert, grapefruit, citrus, light bitterness. Very easy to drink. Good stuff.

Borefts IX. Day 1. Keg. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and finely crisp. Light malts, sweetish, a little malt cream. Good piney hop, orange and orange peel. Modest tropical fruit sweetness. Light piney finish. Good stuff.
