Cask at Calverts Court, Stockport. Pours a golden amber with a very small white head, but good lacing. Not much in the nose except some vague hints of caramel. Some hops, creamcake and a trace of citrus in the mouth. Watery texture and low carbonation. Finish is vaguely lemon. Bland is the word !

Cask at County Hotel (JDW) Ashford Normally I like Coach House beers very much, but this was a bit too sweet for me and although advertised as a pale ale, it wasn’t that pale. Sweet malt in mouth with a sweetish finish with some hay and hop notes.
