Panda at home, thanks to Kenny, 16/06/24. Deep mahogany brown topped with a beige cap that thins to a swirl and edgeing. Nose is dark malts, tangy fruits, spice, fruit cake mix, burnt toffee, dates, figs. Taste comprises more tangy fruits, brown bread, dates, raisins, toffee, dark malts, spice. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Tidy enough old skool leaning BW ... just would have liked the 'tang' turned down a touch and tempered with some sweetness.

Modest haze on this almost clear amber beer, decent bubbly tan head. Airy palate, smooth and semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Smooth malts, good caramel toffee creme, sweet but not overly so. Good tangy spicy ripe citrus, some multi spectrum marmalade and soft but rich ripe fruity bourbon barrel and a little vanilla oak. Tangy fruity and slightly spicy linger. Rather good, what?

Mørk brun ned lys brunt skum. Lukter svisker, trevirke, rått kjøtt, havre og noe whisky og kakao. Fyldig. Smaker trevirke, svisker, whisky og havre. Middels lang,

Bottle at ash's. Pours deep ruby amber, nose is caramel, vanilla, toffee, taste is chewy toffee, some berries, oak, sweet.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - deep brown with a red tinge near the bottom. Thin beige head. Nose - prunes and marmalade. Some chocolate and honey. Taste - more prunes and some quince. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy sweet middle and finish. Overall - good beer.
