Super 8 Cherry is the new brand name for Mystic Cherry and is a cherry flavoured Belgian wheat beer, brewed by the Haacht Brewery. It was first brewed in 2006. Ideal pouring temperature is 3 degrees Celsius. In 2019, Mystic Cherry was awarded a bronze medal at the International Beer Challenge for the “flavoured beers” category and in 2018, it won the World’s Best Fruit Beer award at the World Beer Awards.

Watching Aberdeen in European action with this one - the Dons' Super 8 shirt during their European trophy victory against Real Madrid in 1983 was Neil Simpson. This Super 8 has a stated enough cherry in both aroma and taste, on the sweeter side, but not overly appealing. It's also on the pinker side of cherry in colour terms. Easy enough strength.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Red colour. Light malty and hoppy and moderate cherry aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Some cherry notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours red with a thin pink-tinged head. Aromas of sweet cherry and almond. Taste is more of the same. Sweet finish.
