Novo Brazil Brewing Company is bringing back a limited-release fan favorite, just in time to end your dry January the right way! The Grapefruit Imperial IPA is hoppy liquid gold, melding the complexity of a double IPA with grapefruit tropicality to produce an alluring golden/orange creation brimming with a hop-forward quench. Reminiscent of Novo’s beloved staple, Ipanema Double IPA, this revamped rendition of the coveted brew features a grapefruit infusion to brighten the batch, bringing a burst of semi-sweet citrus for added oomph.

473 ml can online from LowCostBeer. Pours light hazed bright orange with white foam. Aromas: sweet malts, orange, burnt rubber. Taste: moderate sweet & bitter, orange, grapefruit. Too sweet. Quite basic, with little hop character, but generally inoffensive. Medium body with foamy carbonation.

Can from the Cellar Bar, Chester. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of a bit of burnt rubber and orange. Taste is light sweet orange. Bitter orange finish

47cl Blik van Beer Republic. Troebel oranjegouden kleur, witte kraag. Heel veel kunstmatige grapefruit, grapefruitschil, onaangenaam bitter. Grapefruitsap: ja. The Grapefruit DIPA: nee. Gemiste kans.
