330ml panda from LCB. Hazy caramel-gold with consistent swirly white top. Aroma of mango, melon, pine and grass. Taste has an orange and mango, quite a zesty and green hop bitterness. Some pine and sugar. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Decent but a bit below Overtone's normal standard.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenny, 16/06/24. Another beer added as Hazy that's as clear as fuck. DDH doesn't mean hazy folks. Just cos the clowns on UT added as 'hayzeeee' doesn't mean you can't question this and make your own judgement ... fuck me ... I go in with the approach that they'll have it listed incorrectly in some form or another! There's a reference to malt bill from the Fierce series but this leads to a dead end trail on NE yeast characteristics. Nose is crisp malts, orange zest, grass, mandarin, lychee. Taste comprises orange peel, grapefruit, faint minerality, light hop spice, grass, mango pulp. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness. Okay DIPA but stuck in 3rd gear.

Can. Just a light haze on this gold beer, small and short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, fairly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light thin malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Light bright piney hops. Somewhat ripe and boxy citrus and citrus peel. A little citric peel bitterness before a lighter brighter lemony citrus attempts to lift this tired affair into something significant. Not even close unfortunately, just tired tasting.

Can from Fierce Aberdeen. It pours cloudy deep golden - blonde with a medium fluffy white head. The aroma is ripe stone fruits, apricot, peachy, persimmon, nectarine, melon, sappy, fanta, orange chewits and hearty bready malt. The is slick, sappy, bitter kick, bitter - sweet, hearty bready malt base, ripe stone fruits, apricot, peach, persimmon, nectarine, twist of citrus, fanta, green, dank and some alcohol boost through the finish. Medium+ body and fine to moderate carbonation. Not as obviously bright and expressive as their usual fair... however it really grew on me. A sleeper. Has some good depth.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - cloudy yellow to orange, attractive foamy white head. Nose - chocolate orange, strangely. Ripe melon. Taste - orange, melon and a wee bit of green hop grassiness. Palate - medium bodied, bitter finish. Overall - decent, if a bit green.

Can from Lupe Pintos. Hazy deep golden body with a white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of crystallised orange and papaya. Flavour of pumpkin and lemon sponge. Medium body with a smooth, slightly powdery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A solid enough IPA but jacking the usual Overtone sparkle.
