Dämmerung means Dawn in German, and this is the light, sunny partner of our dark Dämmerlicht (twilight) beer.

A brand new helles type lager from SMOD, hopped with Spalter Select and Hallertauer Tradition. Bitter, but not too bitter. Light, but not too light. Just in time to welcome outdoor drinking in the sun. Blooming well better be, anyway!

Can from Beer Hive, shared with Adam on the mean streets of Canonmills. Clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas are herbal and grassy, some grains. Taste is more of the same. Bitter finish.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 18/05/23. Almost clear golden with a good sized lasting frothy white cap. Nose is bready malts, hedgerow, vanilla, cereals, grass. Taste comprises pale and bready malts, herb, vanilla, of lemon, grass, fresh pastry, floral notes. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close. Top notch.

440ml can from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead - Hazy gold body with a mad white head. Soft citrus and steady malt characters. Great tasty Helles with literally no faults.

Can courtesy of Dann and Martha. Cheers! Misted pale straw gold. Thick semi loose bright white froth. Super clean malts. Light sauergut character. Hops come across pithy lemon and softly spicy. Light bitterness overall with a modicum of bready sweetness. Fresh and bright mouthfeel. Fine brisk carbonation. Light dry and moderate bitter finish. Great Helles.
