Bottle at the Craft Rock and Grill, Taguig. The aroma is malt, floral perfume hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, light, grainy biscuit malt, woody, floral hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish with a bubbly mouthfeel. Medium bodied with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. Loads of chewy malt and a strange hop combo for the flavours. I’m sure they can do better.

A golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, crisp biscuit malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, a tad funky. In mouth, a crisp light bodied ale with a light biscuit malt with herbaceous hops, light mineral notes, going infected. Bottle at Los Indios Bravos, Boracay. 6-3-5-2-10

Last of the bottles Richard brought me back from his PH trip, and turned out saved one of the best til last. Pours a copper colour with minimal white head. Nice aroma of caramel, treacle and hint of coffee. Medium sweetness and bitterness, llight/medium body, fairly thin but slightly oily texture, little evidence of carbonation in glass but with a fizzy mouthfeel. Earthy bitterness to finish. Enjoyable beer and great to see PH craft brewers coming through.
