16oz can pours a murky cola color with a little faint beige head. Nose has malt and cola and brown sugar. Raisin and ancho but it's faint. Flavor is simple, below average porter base with some cinnamon and pepper flake. Watery finish.

CN from Westhill Service Station. It pours darkest brown with a small, frothy light tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rich roasted malt, toasty, decent hit of chocolate, gateaux, mellow warming chilli spice, toffee, vanilla fudge and coffee grounds. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, chocolate gateaux, brownie, cacao, warming but restrained chilli spice, dried fruits, toasted fruit cake, charred and a touch of coffee with a toasty, warming chilli finish. Medium body and fine to moderate carbonation. Strikes a nice balance.
