Handpull cask at the Fat Cat, Norwich. Lightish yellow gold, very hazy with a loose white head. Some lemon cream aroma, light ground coriander. Tastes fairly terrible. Sourish and bitter with a slightly acrid note. Lingering sourness. Light body, no carbonation. No. And this is one of the best cask beer pubs in England so it ain't the condition.

Cask at the Gordon Highlander, Inverurie. Thought I missed out on this one! It pours clear pale gold with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, floral, citrus peel, soap, pot pourri, straw and biscuity malt. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, pithy, fragrant, floral, quite soapy, bitter citrus peel, grass and some peppery spice with a dry and bitter finish. Lighter end of medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Fresh and good condition. Unfortunately it's a bit too soapy for my tastes, but it's well out together.
