Keg draught at Friends of Ham, Leeds. Deep golden and clear with a ring of white head. Lemon and hay in the light aroma. Taste is metallic, bittersweet and very, very dry in the finish. Lingering kumquat peel in the aftertaste. Light body, medium to heavy carbonation. A pretty intense lager.

Can from Drinkmonger. Clear golden body with a white head that holds well. Fine carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of plain crisps and grass. Flavour of grain and bitter hops. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A crisp, well made lager.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden yellow and clear. Creamy white suds that don't hang around for too long. Nose - green beans, sweetcorn and malty. Taste - bitter salad, green beans and burnt brown bread. Palate - light bodied, with a long malt and hop bitterness. Overall - I'm glad I loaded this as a pilsner as it has the right bitterness level.
