Panda at the holiday cottage in Honeybourne, thanks to Fergus, 08/09/22. Very pale yellow with little in the way of a head ... looks like a perry! Nose is pale malts, grains, cereals, corn husk, melon, lychee, light floral notes, citric zest. Taste comprises grass, grains, pale malts, herb, lemon rind, trace of yuzu. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Clean and refreshing lager.

Flavour is composed of crisp light grains, zesty green citrus, yuzu, green citrus, lemon squeeze. Palate is crisp and refreshing, highish fine carbonation. I dig it.

Can. Almost clear pale gold beer, short white head. Nose is lemon and mandarin. Palate is light and smooth and mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, the rice brings a different kind of sweetness that works well here. The Yuzu delivers it's limey grapefruit mandarin thang and that fits very well with the little extra sweetness in this one. Light finish shows a touch of pine. Delightful. I can imagine drinking pints of this on a hot summers night.

Can from HoTM. It pours straw yellow with a small, quickly dissipating white head. The aroma is fresh, zingy, fragrant, lemon, yuzu, sherbet, lemongrass, cracker and cheap white bread. The taste is crispy, dry, bitter - sweet, doughy white bread, biscuit, rice cakes, the. Comes the zingy tangy yuzu, lemon peel, lemonade, grassy, leafy, soda water with lemon peel and just a touch of alcohol with a dry, greenish finish. Average body and fine, fizzy carbonation. Easy going zingy lager. Quenching.

Can from Against The Grain - canned five days ago. Clear pale golden body with a white head that fades. Steady carbonation. No lacing. Aroma of white grape, white wine and rice. Flavour of lemon and gooseberry. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Interesting, refreshing and well judged.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - pale yellow and not much carbonation or head. Nose - lemon and light malt. Taste - a bit lager tops. Lemon and lightly bready. Palate - light bodied, dry finish. Overall - a bit weird but works ok.
